Want to explore todays’ Computing Technology ?

And all the good stuff using it ?

Who are we ?

We're right into our computers, electronics, mechanics and any other thing that can come together to allow us to create amazing projects.

Some of us work in these fields during the day - or night - but many of us just enjoy creating what's possible when we have the time.

We're a group of all ages, abilities, cultures and professions brought together by our interest in tech.

A little about us ...

We have two divisions - The Melbourne PC User Group and the Melbourne Computer Club.

The Melbourne PC User Group was founded in 1984 to help IT enthusiasts learn more about the latest computing technology and it has the same philosophy today with “Members helping Members”.  Originally the focus was on the IBM and compatible personal computers, but today there is a far wider field of interest.

The Melbourne Computer Club was set up by the Melbourne PC User Group in 2018 as a division of the Group to encourage activities helping young enthusiasts - anyone is young if they say so - to discover and understand todays' technology.

The Melbourne Computer Club concentrates on "hands on" activities, predominantly held at our Moorabbin Clubrooms. The Melbourne PC User Group provides a network for members to meet online and at convenient locations all over Melbourne to swap ideas and knowledge of current computer related technology.

We are one organisation and are inclusive to everyone, each division is different only by the types of activities it emphasises. Many activities attract members from both divisions.
